THE CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

This was sent to me as an email forward.   I had to share...even though I am doing so a bit late!

THE CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

My husband and I had been happily married (most of the time) for five years but hadn't been blessed with a baby.  I decided to do some serious praying and promised God that if he would give us a child, I would be a perfect mother, love it with all my heart and raise it with His Word as my guide.

God answered my prayers and blessed us with a son.

The next year God blessed us with another son.

The following year, He blessed us with yet another son.

The year after that we were blessed with a daughter.

My husband thought we'd been blessed right into poverty. We now had four children, and the oldest was only four years old.

I learned never to ask God for anything unless I meant it.   As a minister once told me, "If you pray for rain, make sure you carry an umbrella."

I began reading a few verses of the Bible to the children each day as they lay in their cribs. I was off to a good start. God had entrusted me with four children and I didn't want to disappoint Him.

I tried to be patient the day the children smashed two dozen eggs on the kitchen floor searching for baby chicks.

I tried to be understanding when they started a hotel for homeless frogs in the spare bedroom,
although it took me nearly two hours to catch all twenty-three frogs.

When my daughter poured ketchup all over herself and rolled up in a blanket to see how it felt to be a hot dog, I tried to see the humor rather than the mess.
In spite of changing over twenty-five thousand diapers, never eating a hot meal and never sleeping for more than thirty minutes at a time, I still thank God daily for my children.

While I couldn't keep my promise to be a perfect mother - I didn't even come close…. However, I did keep my promise to raise them in the Word of God.

I knew I was missing the mark just a little when I told my daughter we were going to church to worship God, and she wanted to bring a bar of soap along to "wash up" Jesus, too.

Something was lost in the translation when I explained that God gave us everlasting life, and my son thought it was generous of God to give us his "last wife."

My proudest moment came during the children's Christmas pageant. My daughter was playing Mary, two of my sons were shepherds and my youngest son was a wise man. This was their moment to shine.

My five-year-old shepherd had practiced his line, "We found the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes." But he was nervous and said, "The baby was wrapped in wrinkled clothes."

My four-year-old "Mary" said, "That's not 'wrinkled clothes,' silly. That's dirty, rotten clothes."  A wrestling match broke out between Mary and the shepherd and was stopped by an angel, who bent her halo and lost her left wing.

I slouched a little lower in my seat when Mary dropped the doll representing Baby Jesus, and it bounced down the aisle crying, "Mama-mama."  Mary ran out and grabbed the doll, wrapped it back up and held it tightly as the wise men arrived.

My other son stepped forward wearing a bathrobe and a paper crown, knelt at the manger and announced, "We are the three wise men, and we are bringing gifts of gold, common sense and fur."

The congregation dissolved into laughter, and the pageant got a standing ovation.

"I've never enjoyed a Christmas program as much as this one," laughed the pastor, wiping tears from his eyes.   "For the rest of my life, I'll never hear the Christmas story without thinking of gold common sense and fur."

"My children are my pride and my joy and my greatest blessing," I said as I dug through my purse for an aspirin.

Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master.  Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.  Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.  Had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.  He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.  He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.

And, just as He promised, He is coming again!!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

MY TALK FOR A LADIES' BRUNCH LAST SATURDAY

Lola’s talk for FAL Ladies’ Christmas Brunch – 12/8/2012

I prefaced my talk by saying I argued with God about what He wanted me to say – that I wanted the ‘fun’ talk – but He specifically told me there was one person who needed to hear what He wanted me to say today – and that I wrote what I would say, or I could talk until tomorrow afternoon.  I also mentioned that as the eldest of the 4 speakers I was there to represent the ‘older’ generation. – Lola

When tragedy enveloped me as a child, I didn’t know who Jesus was – and I didn’t know His comfort.  I was 7 ½ years old when my mother committed suicide April 3rd  1953.  It felt like my world had come to an end….but because of her death, my dad went on a mission to ‘find us a mother’ and he remarried just over 14 months later.  My stepmother got us into church.   My heart was absolutely open to hear about the God who loved me and the Savior who died for me, and when I was 8 ½, I knelt at the altar in a little white A/G church in Wilder, Idaho and asked Jesus to come into my heart.

Then I grew up, disobeyed God, and married the wrong person. (Which means he married the wrong person, too.)  After a miscarriage and a divorce I was so angry at God for letting me make such a horrible mistake that I decided He didn’t even exist. During the time that I was away from God I met and married Al.  When I was pregnant with our first child, I came terrifyingly close to miscarrying.  I’d already been there and didn’t want to do that again – and in my desperation I prayed to the God I had abandoned, “God, I don’t even know if You are real, but if You are, and if You will save this baby, I will recommit my life to You.”  He did and I did.

It hasn’t always been easy – but I have been faithful.  I’ve been through plenty of other tough stuff since then – and, in fact, am going through one of the toughest right now – but now I know that no matter what happens I have to place my trust completely in the Lord.   There is nowhere else to turn.

God’s Word is my greatest source of comfort – and Jesus' words are the most comforting of all:

“Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.   Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”  (Matthew 11:28-29)

He tells us, “In this world you will have trouble, but I have overcome the world.”

And He assures us, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

When I cling to those promises, I find comfort and I find joy.  True joy.

Joy is a layered word.    There is a joy that elicits ebullient expressions of delight – pure unbounded visible joy – but there is also a much deeper joy – one that is not defined by emotion – but is an inner assurance that reflects the joy of the Lord in our lives.  That joy is an attitude – and a choice.  It is not dependent on circumstances.  In fact, true joy is based on the reality of having the Lord in our lives.  It is best stated in the phrase, “The joy of the Lord is my strength.”

The joy of having the Lord in my life is what gives me the strength to face difficulty.  He is my joy and my source of joy!

There is another way to look at that statement.  It states “the joy of the Lord”….  When I ask myself what the Lord’s joy is – the answer is us!  Everyone who has received Him is His joy.   In fact we are His inheritance.  At the end of the age, we will be presented to Jesus as His gift, His inheritance.  Everything He did, He did for us.  He paid the price for us to have a relationship with God, a relationship with Him.

It is the kind of joy the songwriter experienced when he stood at the rail of the ship and peered into the waters that had taken the lives of his 4 young daughters and wrote the lyrics of IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.

The first announcement of Jesus’ birth was to shepherds in a field who were taking care of the sheep.  Luke tells us that an angel of the Lord appeared to them – told them not to be afraid  (Don’t you just love it how angels always say, “Don’t be afraid?”) – then proclaimed, “Behold I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  Today, in the City of David, a Savior has been born to you.  He is the Messiah, the Lord.”

That Good News of great joy is the best good news ever given – and it is good news of great joy to us as well….

There is enormous joy that is yet to come!   Jesus promised before He left the earth, “I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go I will surely come again and take you to myself.  His coming could be very, very soon!  We are living in uncertain times.  Every prophecy that had to be fulfilled for the Lord to return, has been – and now we are just waiting for His timing.

One thing I have learned in life is that God deserves our praise and worship no matter what our circumstances….   I cannot promise you a path of ease.   In fact, quite the opposite.   I have heard many people say that the Lord will never give you more than you can handle.  The truth is, not everything that happens to us is from the Lord.  Sometimes it is because of our own bad choices – or someone else’s poor choice.  (Sometimes life is a four-letter word.*)  I have had more than I could handle on multiple occasions, but I have never had more than He can handle.   He walks with us through everything!

Whatever life brings our way, it will be worth it all when we see Jesus.

He is my comfort.  He is my joy!

12/9/postscript
I wish I had clearly stated that while He doesn’t take away the memory, He does take away the pain.

My current pain is not because of what happened back then – it is because of now….but I definitely am aware of His HOPE and comfort even in the valley.

*This statement was not in what I originally wrote  – it was an unscripted comment….which would most likely have been better left unsaid....

A BIT OF HUMOR FOR TODAY

My world needed this humor this morning -- so I am sharing it!

My Favorite Animal:

Our teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else laughed.

My parents told me to always tell the truth. I did. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef.
Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed, too. Then he told me not to do it again.

The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was.
I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, so I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.

She sent me back to the principal's office. He laughed, and told me not to do it again.

I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked me to tell her what famous person I admired most.

I told her, "Colonel Sanders."

Guess where I am now?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Even so, Come, Lord Jesus

Last night my heart was heavy with a weight of overwhelming sadness - - but this morning I am encouraged by what God spoke to me following 9/11:  "Keep on keeping on.  Occupy until I come."

The reality is, we long for the perfect world that will not exist until Jesus is the Lord of lords and King of kings - beginning with the Millenial reign, and progressing into eternity!  It's a good time to get to work for the Kingdom - - and a good time to re-read Revelation 22.  Our encouragement to others is: "Look up!  For your redemption draws nigh!"

The Revelation of John, chapter 22, ESV
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.      No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.  They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

Jesus Is Coming

And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”
“And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.  Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,  and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen.   Come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.   Amen.

In the meantime - for the time we have left, there is work to do!  There is a final gleaning to be accomplished - and we can be part of what God is doing in these 'last days'.

ONE VERSE - MANY VERSIONS - edited 11/5

I grew up with The King James version of The Bible.  In fact, to my dad, there was no other Bible.  Anything else (in his opinion) fell into the category of ‘adding to’ or ‘taking away from’ God’s Word.

With regard to the Old Testament, it made no difference to him that later translations used more ancient texts for comparison – for it wasn’t until +-1967 that scholars were able to accumulate more than a few fragments of the most ancient Scripture fragments ever found, known as the Dead Sea Scrolls (initially discovered in +-1947, but the area of Qumran was under Jordan rule at that point).  Once there was access to studying the scrolls, there was an opportunity to translate with greater accuracy.

In addition to the age of the texts used, there is the issue of the challenge of accurately translating the Bible into modern language that purports to convey what the original texts intended.  For instance, I have been told that a given word may have +-16 different words that could be used in translation  – and certainly, some of them give a slightly different tone to the meaning.

Those same issues carry over to the progression in translation of the New Testament.  The New Testament was originally written in Greek, as it was the universal language of the day; but the spoken language of Jesus' time was Aramaic, so what he stated was often in Aramaic - and translated to Greek when it was recorded.  Language, inflection, understanding, translation...all leave space for varying interpretation....

So – the point of this is, I have been immersed in studying the book of James; and in looking at parallel versions, most are clear, but one verse is definitely not.  Please note the differences in the various translations that follow.

James 4:5 KJV
Do you think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

James 4:5 NIV 1984
Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely?

James 4:5 NIV 2011
Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us?

James 4:5 CEB
Or do you suppose that scripture is meaningless?  Doesn’t God long for our faithfulness in the life he has given to us?

James 4:5 ESV
Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”?

Yaakov 4:5 (OJB)
Or do you think that in vain the Kitvei Hakodesh attests that Hashem yearns jealously over the Ruach Hakodesh He causes to dwell in us?

James 4:5 (WE)
The holy writings say, ‘God gave his spirit to live in us.  And that Spirit wants us for himself.’  Do you think this means nothing?

I prefer the clarification in the ESV – but find as a whole the various texts provide a complement to each other.  It just happens that in this specific verse, the King James isn’t particularly clear., so I am grateful for reading the verse in other texts, which helps me gain a much better picture of what was intended.

My take away:   I love that God is possessive and protective of His Spirit within us.   When God is referred to as a jealous God - - this is the area of 'jealousy' referenced.  He zealously and jealously protects His Spirit within us - - Christ in you, the hope of glory!!!!!

PLEASE REJECT R-74 by Rick Forcier

I couldn't have said it any better - so I am borrowing this from Rick Forcier's blog from the Christian Coalition Washington site

It's About Rejecting God

 A Case for Rejecting R-74
By:  Rick Forcier

As the many years of campaigning to bring homosexual “marriage” to Washington State comes to an apex—Ala Referendum 74—I remain fully persuaded that codification of illicit same-sex relationships inevitably leads to attacks against religious beliefs.

Catholic Charities in Boston, for instance, was established in 1903 to primarily serve Catholic children left by parents who died or abandoned them.  The charity became the state’s largest private adoption agency for the next 103 years—until Massachusetts enacted a domestic partners law.  Told they must adopt out children to “gay” couples or close their doors, the charity was forced to choose the latter.

Jon and Elaine Huguenin, a Christian couple in Albuquerque own a small photography business.  For refusing to photograph a lesbian “commitment ceremony,” the New Mexico Human Rights Commission found them guilty of discrimination under state anti-discrimination laws, and ordered them to pay $6,600 in fines.

The Christian-based Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association underwent a year-long investigation by the state’s Civil Rights Division following a complaint of discrimination.  A lesbian “couple” had intended to hold a civil union ceremony at the private Boardwalk Pavilion owned by the Camp Association, but were turned away.  The New Jersey Attorney General quickly moved to revoke the association’s charitable organization status.

Marcia Walden, a licensed associate counselor, was fired from a government contract for following her profession’s code of ethics.  Sensing a personal conflict between her religious convictions and an individual seeking same-sex relationship counseling, Walden referred the client to another counselor in her office who did not share her religious beliefs.  Although the lesbian client admitted the second counselor was superb, it didn’t change the outcome.

And, in recent years, the Christian Coalition of Washington has submitted numerous examples of attacks against the moral beliefs and policies of The Boy Scouts of America and the Salvation Army to state and local legislative bodies.

It is no stretch to say that public tolerance for homosexual perversion inevitably results in government leaders who are radically pro-homosexual and will go to war to defend the rights of gays.  The Bible gives ample illustrations of whole communities gone awry.

The Apostle Paul observed that “Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves [sometimes translated in their bodies] the due penalty for their perversion.”  But he also warned Christians that homosexual perversion spreads as a result of a culture that exchanges the TRUTH of GOD for a lie.  (Romans l:25-27)

The truth is, R-74 is not about monogamy, it’s not about equality, and it is certainly not about “marriage.”  It’s about rejecting God and His divine order.

Please REJECT R-74!

A STORY WITH NO WORDS - FROM AN EMAIL FORWARD

Have you ever read a story with no words?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ELDEST BROTHER!

I can't believe my brother, Duane, is 76 today.   When I called and sang 'Happy birthday' to him this morning I told him he should sing '76 Trombones' on his morning walk!  The crazy thing is:  he isn't old yet.  I know it will inevitably come, but he is so full of life that the number seems out of context.  Happy birthday, big brother.  Genetics made us siblings, but we made us friends!
* * *

I have been a little caught up with politics lately - - to my discomfort and dismay.

In August of 2009 God spoke to me and said, "I want you to contend for what I contend for."  I asked for clarification multiple times as I considered what He specifically meant.  Finally, the morning of May 18, 2011, God spoke to me and said, "I contend for Truth.  I contend for man's souls."

Man in this sense is mankind, not a gender.  And God contends for us, and wants me to follow in His footsteps.  So - - - that is why this political 'thing' gets a little dicey for me.  I don't want politics to get in the way of the higher good -  - and yet, the reality of truth (and the apparent lack of it in multiple cases) in politics creates huge issues for me.

There is no rule about truth in advertising when it comes to politics.  There should be!

What I do know is that there is truth in God's Word, the Bible, and the following verses pop immediately into my mind:

"The wage of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord."

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  (Jesus speaking)

"Draw nigh to me and I will draw nigh to you."  (God's promise to us.)

"In this world you will have trouble but take heart:   I have overcome the world."

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is the way of death...."

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life, for God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

He didn't come to condemn - - but to convict.  Conviction gives us the opportunity to repent.  Repentance turns us away from sin and toward God, eternity, and eternal life with Him!

"He came that we might have life and have it to the full."  And that complete fulness will come with our entrance into an eternity in His presence!

After slogging down here through issues that shouldn't even be being voted on because they are so blatantly in violation of God's laws, heaven is looking better all the time....   Still I hold onto this world, still clinging to the hope that we can turn things around and have a little longer for people to repent and accept the Lord as Savior....

Truth is first and foremost the Truth of God's Son - - that God Himself took on the form of a man (God incarnate) and came to earth to live among His created, to ultimately become the blood sacrifice sin required....

So - - I grapple with how much to say or not to say in the politics of our day.  I champion truth - - first and foremost God's Truth, and as a reflection of that, truth in general.  I believe we are being lulled into a complacency  that will destroy us!  I also believe that the Bible doesn't place the U S A as a power in End Times events, which means that we will ultimately collapse...or more likely, implode.  I just don't want it to be now!

What I can count on is that God has it all in His very capable hands.  Ultimately His Will will overrule the will of man....  His Kingdom will come.  His Will will be done - - on earth as it is in heaven!

THE CHANGE WE'VE BEEN PROMISED IS SOCIALISM!

We were promised 'change' when President Obama took office.  What we have learned in the intervening years is that the change he champions is Socialism  - - and for the United States to submit to International Law above our own laws.

He came into office claiming to be a Christian - but nothing he has done so far supports that claim.  He even abandoned the annual "National Day of Prayer" celebration at the Capitol.

Yesterday I posted an article written by a man named Mychal Massie.  I'd never heard of him before - - but I checked him out online and found that the article was correctly attributed.  I felt his view was worth passing along for others to consider, and I sent it as an email forward to all of my family, and several friends, in addition to posting it on my blog.

Most of the responses I received were positive, though one wasn't.  I thought I was sending it to people who'd agree with me, and that it would just be a nudge to be sure to vote if we care.... I misjudged that with one friend.

One of my concerns is that the 'change' that has been promised will come because of apathy and the failure of thinking people to get out and vote!

I am disillusioned with politics in general - - but believe we still have to try!  Sometimes a vote is for the lesser of 2 evils.  Sometimes it is against an ideology that could destroy us.  This year that is what we face.  I also believe that if you don't vote you don't have a right to complain.  So I vote!

One of the people who responded to my email forward said a lot I won't reprint here, but this statement impaled me:

"I have heard every word that comes out of his (President Obama's) mouth, and every word is rooted in communism and socialism.   I know because I have heard it all before.  When the military comes to the HS, middle schools and elementary schools to take our children’s textbooks and replace them with communist and socialist propaganda then it will be too late. I hope it doesn't get to that, but I believe that’s where we are heading."

This friend lived it.  My friend's country of origin became Communist.  My friend lived through Communism, and states, "I know in my bones what type of "change" this president has in mind for this country.  I wish people would wake up, look past the confusion, the smokescreen that's there only to camouflage the real intentions of this man...."

Anyone listening????

AN ASSESSMENT OF THE OBAMAS BY MYCHAL MASSIE

Today is my day for passing along political commentary it appears....  I copied this from an email forward - - checked him out online, and found this to be properly attributed.

Mychal Massie is the former National Chairman of the conservative black think tank, Project 21 - The National Network of Black Conservatives; and a member of its parent think tank, The National Center for Public Policy Research.

This specific article entitled "Why I Do Not Like The Obamas" was his Daily Rant column on February 22, 2012....

It is thought provoking and needs to be paid attention to.

We have been deceived by a smooth talker who does not have America's interests at heart!

BEST SUMMATION OF BARACK AND MICHELLE EVER

part1.00010806.01050008@silverstar.com

Mychal Massie is a respected writer and talk show host in Los Angeles .

The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn't like the Obama's?  Specifically I was asked: "I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama's?  It seems personal, not policy related.  You even dissed (disrespect) their Christmas family picture."

The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation. I've made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas.  As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don't like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.

I don't hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America.  They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same, Michelle Obama's raw contempt for white America is transpicuous.

I don't like them because they comport themselves as emperor and empress. I expect, no I demand respect, for the Office of President and a love of our country and her citizenry from the leader entrusted with the governance of same.  President and Mrs. Reagan displayed an unparalleled love for the country and her people.  The Reagan's made Americans feel good about themselves and about what we could accomplish. Obama's arrogance by appointing 32 leftist czars and constantly bypassing congress is impeachable.  Eric Holder is probably the MOST incompetent and arrogant DOJ head to ever hold the job.  Could you envision President Reagan instructing his Justice Department to act like jack-booted thugs?

Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama's have taken lies, dishonesty, deceit, mendacity, subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths.  They are verbally abusive to the citizenry, and they display an animus for civility.

I do not like them, because they both display bigotry overtly, as in the case of Harvard Professor Louis Gates, when he accused the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly, and her code speak pursuant to now being able to be proud of America.  I view that statement and that mindset as an insult to those who died to provide a country where a Kenyan, his illegal alien relatives, and his alleged progeny, could come and not only live freely, but rise to the highest, most powerful, position in the world.  Michelle Obama is free to hate and disparage whites because Americans of every description paid with their blood to ensure her right to do same.

I have a saying, that "the only reason a person hides things, is because they have something to hide."  No president in history has spent over a million dollars to keep his records and his past sealed.

And what the two of them have shared has been proved to be lies.  He lied about when and how they met, he lied about his mother's death and problems with insurance, Michelle lied to a crowd pursuant to nearly $500,000 in bank stocks they inherited from his family.  He has lied about his father's military service, about the civil rights movement, ad nausea.  He lied to the world about the Supreme Court in a State of the Union address.  He berated and publicly insulted a sitting Congressman.  He has surrounded himself with the most rabidly, radical, socialist academicians today.  He opposed rulings that protected women and children that even Planned Parenthood did not seek to support.  He is openly hostile to business and aggressively hostile to Israel.  His wife treats being the First Lady as her personal American Express Black Card (arguably the most prestigious credit card in the world).  I condemn them because, as people are suffering, losing their homes, their jobs, their retirements, he and his family are arrogantly showing off their life of entitlement - as he goes about creating and fomenting class warfare.

I don't like them, and I neither apologize nor retreat from my public condemnation of them and of his policies.  We should condemn them for the disrespect they show our people, for his willful and unconstitutional actions pursuant to obeying the Constitutional parameters he is bound by, and his willful disregard for Congressional authority.

Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin; it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies.  And I have open scorn for their constantly playing the race card.

It is my intention to do all within my ability to ensure their reign is one term.  I could go on, but let me conclude with this.  I also condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the media for refusing to investigate them, as they did President Bush and President Clinton, and for refusing to label them for what they truly are.  There is no scenario known to man, whereby a white president and his wife could ignore laws, flaunt their position, and lord over the people, as these two are permitted out of fear for their color.

As I wrote in a syndicated column titled, "Nero In The White House" - "Never in my life, inside or outside of politics, have I witnessed such dishonesty in a political leader.  He is the most mendacious political figure I have ever witnessed.  Even by the low standards of his presidential predecessors, his narcissistic, contumacious arrogance is unequaled.

Using Obama as the bar, Nero would have to be elevated to sainthood.... Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead, they have been witness to a congenital liar, a woman who has been ashamed of America her entire life, failed policies, intimidation, and a commonality hitherto not witnessed in political leaders.  He and his wife view their life at our expense as an entitlement - while America 's people go homeless, hungry and unemployed."
