THIS WAS A GOOD DAY! We saw the final stage of a real round-up, with cowboys cutting out the calves. We went through Eureka and White Pine Nevada, and about 75 miles out of Eureka we sstopped to look at a deserted old town. While we were there this amazing old train passed by - so we got a few pics, jumped in the pickup, drove down the road a ways and took more pics.... Then, we did it again - - this final time, stopping where we would see it emerge from a tunnel. It was such fun! In total, I have 38 pics of the train!
Of course in loading them to the blog, I got them out of order.... These are just a snippet of the myriad of pictures I took that day.
